Newborn Sessions
I now photograph newborns exclusively through Sweet Me Photography (www.sweetmephotography.com), an affordable in-home newborn photography service that brings the entire newborn studio to the comfort of your home! The ideal time for a session is when your newborn is between 5 and 14 days old, so the sooner you pre-book the better. Be sure to mention my name “Wendi Lee” as the referral so I can be scheduled to photograph your baby.” A newborn session usually takes from 2 to 4 hours.
Babies cannot regulate their body temperature yet. Just be aware that I will bring a heater and the room will be very warm. It will be very warm for us but comfortable for your new little one.
When doing the poses where the baby is undressed, it is normal (and okay!) for him or her to “relieve” him or herself on my back- drop … or anywhere else. I can assure you this happens all the time and I am not upset or offended. . After each newborn session I am sure to launder all of my backdrops and other items the baby comes in con- tact with.
